What is piano camp like?

Emily's very first piano lesson experience was in our summer 2021 Piano Boot Camp. By the end of camp, Emily was playing familiar melodies (and making up her own!), including Ode to Joy and I Just Can't Wait to Be King, she learned how to read music on the grand staff, she performed in her first official recital for family and friends....and she completed nearly an entire piano book in only FOUR DAYS!

Her confidence soared and her lightning-speed progress has continued even beyond camp!

Our piano camps:
  • Are designed to be fun and challenging for all experience levels, whether your child is a brand new beginner or has years of piano experience.

  • Allow kids to make rapid progress in a very short amount of time--Students feel a huge boost of confidence and motivation for making BIG gains so quickly!!

  • Are the right balance of work and play...each hour is divided up into group interaction, learning new songs, and review games.

  • Kids love that they don't have to practice at home during the week...They come to camp, practice with me, and then relax for the rest of the day!

  • Give kids a chance to stretch their creative muscles. We write music, have fun with ear-training and improvising, and play games.

  • I have found that two hours of games, creativity, and a little practice is "just right" ...you wouldn't believe how many times I hear: "It's time to go already!?!?!?"
