Is Learning Piano Hard for Adults?

"I quit piano near unto 50 years ago 'cause my mom yelled at me each time I struck a sour note. Most of them must have been sour, 'cause she sure yelled a lot from the kitchen! Is there hope for me as an octogenarian minus 16 years? Mastering the ole piano's still on my bucket-list." -Brandon

Many adults wish they took lessons as kids...or did take lessons and regret quitting. Maybe you can relate to Brandon: lessons were no fun, you had a negative experience, or life just got too busy.

The great news about learning to play an instrument is that it's never too late! You CAN still fulfill your desire to play your favorite songs on the piano, and it will take less time than you think.

In our Adult Piano Program you will in only ONE lesson:

  • learn to read music on the grand staff (the same staff professional musicians use)

  • learn the 6 foundations of piano technique that will make playing the piano feel comfortable and easy

  • begin to carve out time each week where you can focus on YOUR mental, physical, and spiritual health

  • begin to enjoy extra non-musical benefits including improved memory, spatial reasoning, brain growth, and stress relief

Within 6 months you will:

  • play the music you have always wanted to be able to play--including popular, classical, holiday, spiritual, movie music...you name it!

  • learn the 3 basic chords that will allow you create your own great sounding music. You will be able to write songs for loved ones, or just for yourself

  • have opportunities to share your newfound talent with family and friends

As adults, we have many responsibilities to work and family. Our Adult Piano Program enables you to feed your own soul and take care of yourself. You will be surprised how easily piano will fit into your busy day, and how good it will feel!

What Our Students Are Saying

Alissa K

I have learned more in 6 months of lessons than I have in 5 years of trying to teach myself! I highly recommend lessons.
